I've gotten into a show called "Copper", on Sunday nights. It's a detective show set in 1860's New York. I've been thinking about checking out some other programs advertised on the network.

Even on the field for the touchdown, one ref said no... one ref said yes... both were standing next to each other saying yes, and no, at the same time. They just went with yes
.And the one saying no, and calling it an interception, was the one with the best look. He was standing right over the two players. How the other ref was able to overrule his call is a mystery.

The news this morning was that the NFL is going to stand by their amateur scabs and rob Green Bay of this game.
Forget awarding the game to Green Bay. The NFL could have helped its cause by simply admitting that the refs got it wrong. But they weren't even willing to do that. By standing by the 'simutaneous possession' ruling, they insulted the intelligence of the millions of people who saw the play with their own eyes.

That's even better than when the visiting speaker didn't show up on Sunday morning.

Jwfacts, Why Do You Equate Miracles With Magic?
by Recovery ini have a question for the author of the website jwfacts.
as i was reading the sparlock article, i couldn't help but notice something seriously wrong:.
"the bible abounds in vivid fantasy, such as its many celestial descriptions, or the portrayal of warring kingdoms with imaginary beasts.. the sparlock message is confusing, as much for an adult as for a child, as the bible shows that god's followers practice magic, even if they are usually referred to as miracles.

What about pulling off a tablecloth without taking the dishes with it? Which one does that fall under- magic or miracle?

I agree (and mind you I live in Seattle and I'm a big Seahawks fan).
Imagine how we're feeling in Wisconsin.
This was a total embarassment to the NFL. It was a horribly officiated game even before the final play. The roughing the passer penalty on Erik Walden that wiped out an interception that would probably have clinched the game was ridiculous. Don't get me started on the "pass interference" call on Sam Shields. The receiver was climbing on his back. How do you call that on the defender?

I also dont see how Im mentally ill for pointing out the questionable blunders made by Ms. Conti.
A fair point, provided your questions are legitimate and sincere ones, and not simply a pathetic attempt to defend the WTS at the expense of a sexual abuse victim. And frankly, the flip manner in which you addressed these questions in your thread would make anyone question your sincerity.

You're only a 'bad' guy if you don't like watching women fight. You would have to return your man card, then.

Calling me names wont change what the Bible says.
You're right. It will be archaic, mysoginistic, superstitious tripe, no matter what names people choose to call you.

Bottom line, Jesus in no way was married to, nor interested in any woman romantically.
Doesn't mean he didn't rub one off on occasion.
